On Thursday 13th October we took part in our first football league match against Elton Primary School. The match took place here at Winyates and the children started brilliantly. Despite going down 1-0 the team showed true resilience to fight back to take a 3-1 lead into half time. Unfortunately, Elton rallied in the second half and were the eventual winners, taking the game 4-3.
The whole team certainly learnt a lot from this match and we are sure that we will manage to apply this in our future matches.
