This year's netball league match kicked off today as we welcomed Orton Wistow to our school for the game. For many of our team this was their first time playing in a netball game and they were eager to get going.
The game consisted of 4 quarters that were each 6 minutes in duration. We started very strongly steaming to a 6-0 lead after the first quarter. We then continued to show our quality as we got to half time leading 7-0. In the third quarter it was very tight and the score was 8-2 as we moved into the final quarter. Once again the children rallied and showed determination as they managed to close the game out by scoring another 5 goals to win 13-3.
All of the children performed brilliantly and we are so proud of their effort. We are already looking forward to our next match in a few weeks time.
