On Thursday 23rd November we travelled to the City of Peterborough Hockey Club in order to participate in the Year 5/6 Peterborough Hockey Tournament. There were 8 schools in total and we played against all of the schools in a round robin format.
Throughout the tournament our performances grew and grew with each passing game, as did our understanding of how a competitive hockey match is played. All of the children showed great progress and really enjoy taking part.
Overall we managed to win 4 matches, losing only 3, while scoring some excellent goals and making some brilliant defensive tackles. All of the children should be really proud of their efforts and the way that they represented our school.
