Mrs Clarke - SEND Support
As a Children's Occupational Therapist and Sleep Practitioner I support the children in lots of different ways!
I absolutely love my job- being able to support the learning, participation and development of the children is so very rewarding.
I work very closely with all of the school staff, enhancing their knowledge of the children in their class, and how Occupational Therapy can support them.
Previously I was a Teaching Assistant for 9 years, and through this role I discovered Occupational Therapy, and had no doubt that I wanted to work with children. After qualifying from University I worked in the NHS, before joining the "Winyates Family" 5 years ago. I am very proud to be part of such a great team.
Mrs Adams - Family Liaison Worker
I joined the Winyates team in 2012 and have worked with children in classes across the school and am now privileged to be supporting our families in the family liaison role. I have three of my own children so I know the many highs and lows of being a parent and what a wonderful but often challenging job this can be. I love being able to build strong relationships with our parents and carers, working in partnership to achieve the very best outcomes for our children!
At Winyates Primary School, we pride ourselves on an inclusive and personalised education for all children, with a supportive team in place. Our SEND team work together with class teachers, support staff, external agencies and parents/carers to organise effective teaching and learning for the children who have specific educational needs and/or disabilities.
