Mrs Bretherton

I’m Mrs Bretherton and I cannot wait to join Winyates this year in Year 1. I love teaching and can’t believe I ever did anything else. One of my favourite things about teaching is developing and nurturing children’s curiosity; in the classroom, in the forest, in the stories we read and non-fiction books we explore. I love reading and I love sharing my favourite books and love of reading with the children I teach. I am really looking forward to starting our journey together at Winyates this year.

From a young age I have always wanted to work with children in a school setting. I joined Winyates in September 2023. I love helping children progress and watching them grow. It makes me proud to be part of the Winyates team.
