As a huge believer in kindness, excellence, courage and ambition, I couldn't think of a better school to be a part of. After spending the last 7 years as a class teacher/team leader at St. John's, I am so excited to become part of the Winyates family as assistant headteacher as well as teach English and Maths in year 5. I have a passion for reading and love nothing more than being tucked up under a cosy blanket with my little dog Luna and a good book.

I have been teaching at Winyates Primary School since 2011 and thoroughly enjoy seeing the progress our children make. I have a real passion for PE and believe these are so important for all children and I am keen in developing a love of this in everyone I teach. In addition to this, I have a real passion for reading and love sharing recommendations.

I have very strong ties with Winyates as I used to be a pupil here, all 5 of my children have also attended Winyates and I’m now into my 4th year as a teaching assistant! I love reading, and often have more than 3 books on the go at one time. Winyates truly feels like a large family and I really love seeing how everyone learns and grows over the years.
